about

Built from the country/blues/folk foundations of ARIA nominated songwriter Danny Widdicombe (from the Wilson Pickers) and merging with the harmonic and melodic versatility of the award-winning jazz trio Trichotomy, this group consists of Danny Widdicombe (vocals/guitar), Sean Foran (piano/keyboards), John Parker (drums) and Samuel Vincent (bass).
With both Widdicombe and Trichotomy bringing a history of performances around the world to this project, the distinctive sound of Widdicombe’s storytelling and Trichotomy’s intuitive improvising creates an engaging blend of sonic tapestries. Widdicombe’s steel string guitar and earthy vocals the perfect match for the piano, bass, drums and their intimate interplay. Featuring a suite of songs by Widdicombe, and lush improvising from all musicians, the music is a delight for lovers of jazz, folk, country, experimental music and everything in-between. Musically cohesive and detailed, yet accessible to an array of audiences.
